Iskra Advisory is an art and cultural practice based in Singapore, working across Southeast Asia.
Southeast Asia's contemporary art scene is expansive, diverse and increasingly internationally recognised. We help collectors, businesses and institutions engage with the its art landscape, connecting them with artists, ideas and opportunities shaped by regional knowledge and an understanding of its cultural ecosystems.

Founded by Mariia Zhuchenko, Iskra Advisory draws on international experience and a strong network in Southeast Asia's contemporary art scene to connect artists and collectors across the region. Every project begins with conversation, grows through collaboration and is shaped by a belief that culture is one of the most powerful ways to connect people, places and ideas.
Mariia Zhuchenko is an advisor and arts professional with extensive experience across across Australia and Singapore, building lasting relationships between artists, collectors, galleries, and institutions.
Most recently, Mariia served as Associate Director at Sullivan+Strumpf, where she oversaw the opening of the gallery's Tiong Bahru space, re-established its curatorial programme, and expanded its network of collectors and institutional partners throughout Southeast Asia. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of the region's cultural nuances and creative landscape while fostering meaningful connections between artists, collectors, and institutions.
Earlier in her career, Mariia worked at Carriageworks in Sydney, one of Australia's leading contemporary arts organisations. Working within its renowned food programme, she championed chefs, farmers, producers, and artisans through public programming and large-scale events, reinforcing the importance of storytelling, collaboration, and authentic relationships.
